Different structure

Floating ball valve small volume, light weight, simple structure, ball with free floating function, can better ensure sealing; Ball valve is a ball with a circular through hole as the opening and closing parts, driven by the stem ball around the center of the stem for 0~90 degrees of rotation, to complete the opening and closing function.

Common actuation methods for fixed ball valves are worm gear drive, manual, electric and pneumatic. Most fixed ball valves are flanged, but there are also soldered fixed ball valves.

Different principle

Floating ball valve ball is floating, under the action of medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and pressure on the sealing surface of the outlet end, to ensure that the outlet end is sealed.

Fixed ball valve ball is fixed, after compression does not move. Fixed ball valves are with floating seat, by medium pressure, seat movement, so that the sealing ring is pressed on the ball, to ensure sealing. It is usually equipped with bearings on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, and the operation torque is small, suitable for high pressure and large diameter valves.
